Our Project

Our mission helps vulnerable groups like refugees, single mothers, and the homeless, providing essentials such as medicines, medical supplies, and relief items. We focus on economically deprived communities and remote regions in Africa, aiming to restore dignity and hope to those lacking basic human rights and opportunities.

Homelessness

We understand that homelessness is an issue in most communities, but we believe that can change. Our mission is about facing the facts before us and helping to combat the scourge it is causing to lives and the community. We are helping to restore homes, personal life, the willingness to assist people in facing it, irrespective of the challenges ahead. Many homeless people do not want the situation they have found themselves in, and we aspire to help as many who want that support.

We hope to support by referrals, training and advice and guidance to begin the steps to achieving independence, with the aim of helping the less privileged in the community have a roof over their head.

“People sleeping on the street are almost 17 times more likely to have been victims of violence.” https://www.crisis.org.uk/ending-homelessness/about-homelessness/

Join us to assist the helpless in the community.

Scholarship abroad

In many developing countries, there are children from poor homes who cannot have an education, and this consequence results in many children working or staying home. We want to stop the problem by supporting as many are within our capacity to help because an educated child is better for the country and continent at large. We aim to sponsor children from nurseries up to higher institutions to improve the chances of becoming a difference to their world. There will be requirements that must be fulfilled before granting anyone a scholarship.

Our organisation distributes several materials that will improve, inspire, motivate and educate people in remote and deprived communities is providing them with books and other educational requirements of children.

“Only four out of every 100 children in Africa is expected to enter a graduate and postgraduate institution, compared to 36 out of 100 in Latin America and 14 out of 100 in South and West Asia.”

Supporting single mothers

Single motherhood is a very challenging time because most of them have to fend for themselves and their children. The situation of single motherhood could have been caused by a number of reasons.

We understand that the situation is dire for some because they cannot receive state benefits or that they are not enough to support their home. We help single mothers with food items, clothing and other essentials they need for themselves or their children.

Missionary work

This is dedicated to the work of God that takes place street to street, door to door, nation to nation as missionaries, to bring people the Word of the Lord. Part of our work includes church planting and preparing the people of God for race to bring salvation to the unsaved around them. If you want to find out more about our missionary work, or any other areas visit our contact page.

Medical Check-up

We run several free support for people in the community including a once a month free basic medical check-up, which is carried out by qualified doctors who are volunteers at the charity. If you think you are in need of some of the services above or any other areas, we will try our best to render the support, if you contact us on the link below.

Prison ministry

Every year there are thousands of men and women who find themselves in a cycle of crime and incarceration that is destroying their lives. The cycle repeats again without knowing God’s hope or experiencing Christ’s love, breaking families, and damaging communities. Our foundation helps through volunteers in our local church to bring Christ and community support, to prisoners in and out of jail on their journey to rehabilitation.

Hospital visit prayer team

One of the most significant aspects of hospital visit prayer team is offering prayer. These prayers connect people to God’s power, remind them of who they are as God’s children, and occasionally put deep feelings of anguish, loss, and pain into words.

These prayers are offered specifically for persons who are in the hospital for a variety of reasons, whether they are admitted or visiting others.

Old people encouragement team

We have a team of volunteers who care about the elderly in the community, and they use that opportunity to visit them on occasion to keep them happy and encourage them to who they are. We at Jesus Power House Ministries want to support the elderly, spend time talking, socialising and sharing the word of God. We have several instances people have been grateful for our visit and we would like to keep it up, you can look out for more details on the events page.

We focus on what matters to God, and that is seeing Gods children basking in the glory of the Lord.
